Forecasts
Project your balance six months to thirty years out, adjusted for inflation.
Budgets that fill with your real spending, a debt plan that shows the math, and the Canadian accounts other apps ignore. Priced in Canadian dollars.
Budgets & spending
Set an amount per category and it fills with your actual transactions โ no re-entering what you already spent. The marker shows where you should be by now, so you know if you're ahead before the month is gone.
$160 under pace ยท $860 left this year. Skip a few months and the room carries forward instead of resetting.
Debt payoff
Add your cards, loans, and lines of credit with their rates. Schei works out the date you'd be free and the total interest โ then shows what one extra payment a year would change.

The Canadian part
Every good budgeting app is American. None of them can tell you how much TFSA room you have left. Schei tracks your contributions year by year against the annual limits, so you know before you over-contribute.

Illustrative. Schei works this out from the contributions you record.
Also in the app
Project your balance six months to thirty years out, adjusted for inflation.
Recurring bills and income, marked paid and rolled forward automatically.
Accounts, investments, property and debt in one number that updates itself.
Income against spending, category trends, and where the month actually went.
Getting your data in
Schei connects to supported Canadian institutions for automatic syncing. Open banking is still arriving in Canada, so some banks can't be connected yet โ for those, import a CSV from your old app or your bank, or enter transactions by hand. Manual entry is a first-class part of the app, not a fallback. Coming from Mint or Monarch? Bring your history with you.
Pricing
Why this exists
When Mint shut down, every good replacement was American โ and a lot more expensive than the free thing we'd all just lost.
There were also a host of things I wanted that none of them did. Being Canadian, the big one was tracking my TFSA and RRSP contribution room on the fly.
So I built the app I couldn't find.
